FC Village failed to gain revenge on Smart Energy for their opening day defeat when manager Steve phoned them on Fri to confirm the game only to find that they wouldn't be playing as they could'nt get a team together. The Village were duly awarded the 2 points for a win as were Wirral Wanderers when they experienced the same problem two weeks ago. That is it now for the Village as they have completed their league games and they just have to wait to see if Tower FC can overhaul them by winning their remaining matches.
