05/09/10 News: CDFL results 03/09
The Chester & District League only had 2 league games as most of the teams were in cup action and both of these games were played on Friday evening. Crossway Res' went top as they made it 3 wins out of 3 when they won at Boughton Ath who have now lost all 4 of their games. In the other match FC Village and Barcode Ath shared the points in a close encounter down at Levers.


09/09/10 News: Village stay in 3rd place
Despite having a free week the Village remain in 3rd place as the results went their way. There were big wins for the top two, New England & Athletico Hoylake and a first win for Stephen Hawking's. The other match between Aston Gorrila and Real Birkenhead ended all square.


09/09/10 News: CDFL midweek result
The Chester & District League had only 1 midweek game and that saw the top 2 play each other as Lache FC ended Crossway Res's unbeaten run to go top themselves with a 6-1 win.


13/09/10 News: Wirral Junior Cup results
The Wirral & District Cup 1st round produced mixed fortunes for the CDFL clubs. FC Village, Kelma and Rangers Breaks all won with the latter winning on penalties. Lever Ath & Raby Villa both got walkovers but Groves went out the same way. Zone Fitness and Manor Ath both lost their games and there was no result from the Heswall Windows game. This leaves 6 teams in the 2nd round.


13/09/10 News: Village in Nortern Cup
The Village were successful in their entry into the Northern Cup for the first ever time and have been drawn away against Farnworth Res. Farnworth is up near Bolton so it will be a mini bus trip up there for the day on Saturday Oct 23rd with kick-off at 2:30pm.


16/09/10 News: Saturdays game called off
The Village saw their game for Sat 18th Sept get called off as Sutton Way Villa Res have failed to get a side together. However the team now have a game on Sat 25th Sept when they were due a free week.


19/09/10 News: CDFL results 18/09
The Chester & District League Div 3 saw only 2 League matches as most of them were playing in the cup. Newton Wirral smashed an amazing 20 goals past Vicars Cross Doves and Zone Fitness won their first ever league match beating Groves Celtic 6-2.


26/09/10 News: CDFL results 25/09
The Chester & District League Div 3 saw a full league program as there were 5 matches. Crossways went top as they beat the bottom side. Newton Wirral and FC Village remain unbeaten as they both won 4-0 against Boughton and Groves Park respectively. Zone Fitness have a 100% record with a win at Barrow Ath and Barcode beat Lache who started the day top.
